Love the design, poor sizing

The design and quality is great, but unfortunately, the sizing is WAY off. Not only do the sizes seem to run smaller than normal (I normally wear a medium to large in ladies sizes), but I sized up to an XL based on the measurements given in the size chart and the actual shirt is approximately an inch and a half smaller in width than stated in the chart (barely 18 inches across 1 inch below armholes). I’m super bummed that I probably won’t wear this shirt very much as I really liked the design.
