We are extremely excited about exhibiting once again for our third year at San Diego Comic-Con! It is our biggest, most exhausting (but very successful) event of the year. We just can’t stop counting all the things we love about it. Last year, we were lucky enough to debut our first ever childrens’ story book, and this year we are following through with our limited edition, handmade plush toys of Babee and Ninja Babee-AWESOME!! We can’t wait for all of to see them at our booth… Don’t forget to come by booth #4521! Remember, there will be only 75 pcs total available for the con, so stop by early! =P Special props to Patty for making this happen! (She has never had to so sew so much in such little time like this before)
Also just one more thing I wanted to bring up…side tracking a bit but it has been in my mind for a while now. A lot of people ask us for advice and such on building our brand. Although we have been building our brand for about five years now, we consider ourselves somewhat new still, as we still have a lot to learn. What some people are surprised to see/hear is that Fat Rabbit Farm is ran by us two-we are creators, designers, and everything eslers. We are able to run our brand fulltime because of our passion and dedication we have for the brand and for one another (you have no idea). When we started this company, it was a leap of faith for us. We worked full time, went to school, and started up our company. Unfortunately we did not have any help from our family in terms of finances or anything for that matter. We could not count on anyone’s help because it was our path. So we chose and we made it happen. And as of this day, we still continue to give it our 200% and one we hope to share to the world our love and passion and achieving our goal of producing a cartoon worldwide.
For those who are beginning to start brands, there is just SOOOoo much learn, to know, and to do, you have no idea. People think its easy to maintain and build a brand-its not. Everyone’s beginning situation is different- you may start lower than a lot of people, but down the road, if you make it past the others, it will feel that much more worth it. You can learn only so much, but you can never learn passion. We wish anyone and everyone starting up their own brand good luck and have fun doing it!
