For over four years, creator and designers Jason Ponggasam and Patty Variboa (Los Angeles) have instilled the passion, creativity, and personality into what Fat Rabbit Farm is today. Now inspired by two fat bunnies, Babee and Blanket, they continue to share the adventures and stories of the kingdom of Fat Rabbit Farm through apparel, art, and accessories. Enjoy!
The FRF team
Jason aka “fatty” and Patty, aka “fluffy” are self taught designers and illustrators, inspired by anything with mischief, sweets, or bunnies! Everyday they enjoy making bunny faces at each other because it always makes them giggle. They secretly work with an underground bunny rescue team from time to time, ^_^ chasing and rescuing homeless bunnies with blankets that they see on the sidewalks at 1:00 in the morning. So if you see a couple running around on your block with a blanket and making animal noises don’t be alarmed! During their free time they love to bake cookies and sushi cupcakes. The couple also hops around as freelance designers.
Babee Bunny, the true founder of Fat Rabbit Farm and original inspiration. She runs around without a care in the world, terrorizing at night and sleeps like an angel by day. She fights with Blanket for pellets and always wins. The brown and white bun is their baby.
Blanket Bunny, one of the bunnies they chased down the street at 1:00 in the morning, now happily bonded with her new sister Babee, are truely a force to be reckoned with. She sleeps like a cat and makes noises like bird. Is she a bunny? Or maybe raised by cats and birds before she met us. Whatever creature she is, she will always be their creature.
